Ocean View Apt, 2 Beds, Near Downtown

This place was fantastic. The apartment was well appointed with a full kitchen and laundry. The beds were super comfortable and the balcony looked out over the ocean and the whole city. We came in the off season and it was hot but the air con kept everything beautifully cool. The best part was the STUNNING rooftop pool, which we had to ourselves most days. The complex is just the a block up the hill, close enough for easy walks to shops and restaurants but enough out of the crazy downtown to feel quiet and removed. Security was great and we felt very safe. We would stay here agaik in a hearrbeat!

This was the 2nd time staying in this complex. This unit is very nice. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Pictures and description were accurate. There was a very small hot water heater, so the 3 of us had to stagger our showers or have no warm water. The biggest drawback was the noise. We were awakened almost every night to screaming, numerous people in adjacent rooms, people running up and down the halls. Parties going on. The managers did try and help, but not much they can do at 2:00 am. I called security one night and there was no answer. Spoke to the gate attendant the next day and there was a significant language barrier, so not much they could help with. Would probably give it another try, as we like the location and last year ( during the same week ) noise was not an issue. Just bad luck, but made for some very short nights!
