2BR Ocean View Near Downtown San Lucas

While some expectations were not fully met during our stay, we still truly enjoyed the condo’s location. The space was l Positive: The view and location (it’s closed to everything) !!! 10/10 Negative: First of all, the directions to get there were definitely not clear. In the address we received, the “#” referred to the condo unit (#405), not the building address (#4), which made it impossible to locate on Google Maps. When clicking on “Get directions,” several different locations appeared. It took us almost an hour to find the building, and we eventually had to ask a neighbor in the area for help. Once we finally found it, the access code we received to enter the building was outdated, so we couldn’t get in. By chance, the garage door was open, and we were able to speak with some residents who gave us the updated code for the main gate, which was quite awkward. Additionally, both in the instructions we received and on the information sheet on the fridge, it states that there is a parking spot in the garage for unit #405. However, that spot was already occupied, and we were told the car belonged to the condo owner. When we entered the condo, we were of course amazed by the view. However, I noticed that the floors, showers, and sinks were not very clean. There was long black hair everywhere, and I had to sweep and clean a bit before we could unpack our belongings. Another issue was the safe located in the closet. It was locked when we arrived, and we were never able to open or use it. I also chose this location over others because it included a washing machine, which I really needed after spending the previous week in Todos Santos. Unfortunately, the dryer was very inefficient. It took several hours to dry the laundry, and thicker items like towels never fully dried, so we had to hang clothes all over the condo, which was quite inconvenient. Lastly, the day before our departure, the water was cut off in the entire building. The agency managing the reservation responded very quickly and professionally; however, the issue was not resolved before we left.
