New & Elegant 4Bedroom House, Steps from the Beach

Beautiful, relaxing and peaceful stay with stellar views! Positive: The property was beautiful, with an amazing view of the ocean and arch. We got to see both amazing sunrises and sunsets. It was the perfect size for our huge group and we had enough towels and linens for everyone. We really enjoyed the pool and other facilities. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook healthy meals and even host a nice dinner with our family. The staff included beach chairs and an umbrella which saved us from the Sombrillas Syndicate aka Umbrella Mafia at the beach. It was easily walking distance to the Fresko which had a great deli and cafe. Staff was on top of every little concern we had. They would send someone immediately to help us with anything we didn’t understand or couldn’t figure out. They were very attentive. Getting Ubers and uber eats food and deliveries and pick ups was a breeze once we figured out how to put it in the app. Do NOT use your gps location as a pickup or delivery address as it takes them to the gated neighborhood behind the place. Do use the address as given and descriptions. We highly recommend this place. It was amazing. Negative: Only complaints would be the wifi didn’t reach well on the top floor and disconnected constantly. This could be fixed with a repeater like they have on the downstairs. And the flowering bushes around the pool caused lots of debris despite the pool guy cleaning it out again every single day. Those things also can get lodged in your ear. Ouch. The HOA should remove those. Not a fault of the host AT ALL! We did report this issue to the guard and they had someone out there sweeping up the flowering seed things the next morning.

The condo is new, nicely furnished with comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen is equipped. The pool sparkles and the landscaping is immaculate. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful when needed. With a security guard at the gate we felt very safe. There was no hot pool. But walking to the beach, since the highway has to be crossed, is dangerous and nearly a one mile--typically very hot--trek. No restaurants were within walking distance on this side of the highway either. A large, modern grocery store with a coffee shop is easily walkable, as was a pharmacy. Ubers found the La Mar Condominiums without a problem if booked from the security gate and they arrived within one to five minutes when booked.
